ZENful Meditation and Float Experience

Join Meditate Kate and Float Horizen for a restorative event of meditation and floating. Relax in the salt therapy room for a 45-minute guided meditation led by Kate. The meditation will include breathing exercises, as well as a guided visualization. The experience will also include a 60-minute float where you can reap the health benefits of floating in a sensory deprivation tank with 1,000 lbs of epsom salt. 

Floating helps to detoxify the body and bring your mind into the Theta state. Allow the body to heal, rest, and rejuvenate as you let the water support your body. Floating reduces the sensation of gravity by 80%. You won't know where your body ends and the water begins. Floating is known to help with pain relief, recovery, enhanced creativity, sports performance, stronger immune system, bone and muscle regeneration, and hair and skin health. 

Float Horizen's salt therapy room can reduce inflammation and boost immune, vascular, and respiratory health. Salt therapy helps with asthma, allergies, cystic fibrosis, ear infection, stress and anxiety, fatigue, depression, post-operative recovery, sleep disorders, and skin conditions. 

Kate Wilke is a certified 200-hour meditation teacher, a RYT-200 yoga instructor, and a certified integrative nutrition health coach. Her expertise lies in breathing techniques for relaxation and guided visualization meditation.
